Summary

As a result of clarifying the current situation and issues of the introduction of in-hospital midwifery systems through a literature review and analysis of hospital information, as of 2012, 490 midwifery outpatients and 82 in-hospital midwives have been introduced. The reason for opening the center was to meet the needs of pregnant women to make up for the shortage of obstetricians. With the introduction of the in-hospital midwifery system, it was confirmed that there are issues in formulating target selection criteria, coordinating with obstetricians, and improving midwifery diagnostic skills.
