Summary

We examined the factors involved in the return to school of 11 children with aphasia, and the results suggested that the factors involved in returning to a regular classroom were the possession of a certain level of language ability, particularly the ability to read and write kana, as well as independence in terms of mobility and ADL, and few behavioral problems.
