Mutagenicities of Engine Oils of Gasoline and Diesel Cars

Effective method for extracting mutagens in engine oils was investigated in order to determination emission level of mutagens . Mutagenic activities of gasoline engine oils showed generally higher values than those of diesel engine oils. Mutagenicities of gasoline engine oils from longer distance driving cars more than 30, 000km were also higher values than shorter distance driving cars.
