We examined whether napping as a recovery after aerobic exercise improves physical fitness, exercise capacity, and executive function. Eight healthy men with exercise habits were subjected to 90 minutes of treadmill exercise at 8:45 a.m. with a preliminary heart rate of 60-65%. A 90-minute nap after exercise may improve performance related to postural control and reaction time.
