We tested the hypothesis that children's adaptability of sensory integration function in standing control would improve and their reliance on visual input would decrease through a long-term residential camp in which the living situation is relocated to a nature-rich environment. Results showed that children with high visual dependence were able to increase their dependence on sensory inputs other than vision.
