The effects of concomitant intake of branched-chain amino acids (BCAA) and taurine on delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) and muscle damage were analyzed. The BCAA and taurine groups were divided into four groups: placebo group (P), BCAA group (B), taurine group (T), and combination group (C), suggesting that BCAA and taurine intake may attenuate DOMS and muscle damage.
