Learning "Poverty" - You Are Concerned

Theories of poverty are reviewed, followed by a discussion of how to understand "poverty" in a way that does not objectify or othered the "parties" to poverty and does not create discrimination and prejudice, based on classroom practice, students' in-class comments and survey responses.
