Joint Author

Summary

A qualitative descriptive study was conducted with 8 multiparas to clarify emotions evoked by recounting childbirth. Analysis yielded 125 codes, 28 subcategories, 12 categories, and 4 core categories. Recounting led to increased affection toward husbands, deeper attachment to children, and pride as mothers, along with relief from acceptance, fostering family-related changes and self-awareness.
