Conference Presentation(name) |

The 59th Japanese Society of Fitness and Sports Medicine, Saitama, Japan
In this study, we investigated the effects of different types of tape on athletic performance with the aim of finding a taping method that maintains athletic performance and functional stability as much as possible. The results showed that elastic tape was effective in preventing sprains, and that elastic tape was preferable to non-elastic tape in sports competitions when muscle strength and the desired range of motion were achieved. The results suggest that elastic tape is preferable in sporting events when muscle strength and the desired range of motion are achieved.
