We conducted a taste survey and a questionnaire survey using a taste sensor for middle-aged and elderly people in the mountain villages, who have been reported to have high salt intake in previous studies and have a high incidence of hypertension. Samples measured with Taste Sansa were prepared by local residents in each district, and it became clear that there are differences in salinity preferred by districts even within the same region. It was suggested that it is important to objectively grasp the taste tendency of the region from the viewpoint of nutrition education for the prevention of hypertension.
