At school, not only various accidents but also traumatic events such as violence, bullying and abuse often occur. Therefore, even in Japan, there is a need for a response based on the understanding of trauma, that is, a traumatic informed approach. It is important that this approach is adopted not only by school counselors but also by the school organization as a whole, but it is still difficult to introduce it in Japan. However, since the cooperation with school counselors has become well established in schools, trauma-informed approaches to teachers by explaining from the perspective of trauma, even in cases where schools are having trouble responding. I think that will gradually penetrate.
