In order for nursing students to become peer-educators of women, teaching materials that enable them to self-study low-dose oral contraceptives (OC) that can be used for dysmenorrhea and contraception are necessary. We decided to develop a DVD teaching material, ``Utilities and utilization of OC'' for nursing students, and obtain its evaluation. As a result, the content that left an impression on me was consistent with the content that I wanted the students to understand. In the evaluation of the content, the average score for each item was 2.5 or higher out of 4 points, and the evaluation was high due to the value for oneself and the increased interest in OC. We were able to confirm that the content was appropriate.
