Summary

Conscious as individuals, in addition to their identity as wives and mothers, in nonworking, full­time, housewives caring for children was investigated. An interview survey was conducted with nine mothers who participated in the study. The results indicated that they were conscious of themselves as being individuals, in addition to their other roles.
