Experiences of siblings of adolescents with severe mental and intellectual disabilities receiving medical care at home during life events: focusing on the feelings held toward their families from childhood

A qualitative descriptive study was conducted to clarify the experiences of the adolescent siblings of children with severe mental and physical disabilities receiving medical care at home in relation to life events. Implications for family life and experiences associated with life events were obtained. Support is needed in the process of role change to support conflicts from childhood.
