Summary

Pregnant rats were exposed to low-dose of bisphenol A (BPA), an environmental hormone, via drinking water. After the rat pups had grown, behavioral tests were conducted. An effect on sex differences in exploratory behavior was observed. Furthermore, BPA exposure showed an increase in depressive-like behavior in a forced swimming test.
