Focusing on resilience and identity establishment, we examined longitudinally the relationship between resilience and job search retention excess among college students. It was inferred that the degree of identity establishment after job search is influenced by both the individual's intrinsic and acquired resilience and the degree of experience with present-oriented behaviors (primary process) from the beginning of the job search.
