The preparation of a film formulation containing acetaminophen in combination with various polymers and sugar alcohols was investigated with the aim of improving the ease of swallowing. It was suggested that carboxymethylcellulose is more suitable than hydroxypropylmethylcellulose as a polymer, and that the preparation of the desired film formulation is possible by adding glycerin.
