The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between team salary and performance in the J.LEAGUE. Understanding this relationship should be significant for club management to succeed in professional sports league in Japan. This study examined in the J. LEAGUE clubs (Division 1, 18 clubs) by making use of analyzing of the data from 2006 to 2015. It comes to conclusion that team salary explained at 45% of team performance in 2015 season, and 31% of team performance in 10 years term.
