A Topological Method for Mathematical Dealing with Non-Quantifiable Payoff
Conference Presentation(name) |

49thInternational Conference on Social Sciences, Business, Technology and Management
Even though there are many non-quantifiable information in some business scenes, there has no "mathematical" method of dealing with them up to now. Therefore, in the present study, a mathematical method of dealing with non-quantifiable information was investigated, confining the subject to normal-form game in game theory. First of all, I defined quantifiable payoffs as "narrow payoff", and quanifiable and non-quanifiable payoffs as "broad payoff". Then, I generalized normal-form game to be able to deal with the "broad payoff" and defined it as "Generalized Normal-form Game". Finally, I mathematically discussed about whether the definition of "Generalized Normal-form Game" is meaningful by the use of general topology. As a result, one method of dealing with non-quantifiable information on business scenes was "mathematically" suggested.
