Summary

This study examined the impact of an in-school adaptive guidance class operated with the collaborative support of the school and the community on the return of truant children to the classroom. The results of the analysis of the activities of the in-school guidance class for two children who had been truant from school showed an increase in the sense of approval and a decrease in the sense of victimization for both children.
