Dual p-coumaroyl CoA biosynthesis in Morus alba cell cultures

Using two types of 13C-labeled aromatic amino acids, we demonstrated that in cultured mulberry cells, there are two biosynthetic pathways for important intermediates in the shikimate pathway, and that they work simultaneously.
