Tenjin Shinyo-ryu Jiu-jitsu (created in the 19th century) is a typical school that applies Jiu-jitsu techniques to medical techniques. In this presentation, The Author examined the medical application of this Jiu-Jitsu in the Edo period from a biography. As a result, in the Tenjin Shinyo-ryu Book of scroll, many of the names and positions of the atemi corresponded to the acupuncture points of oriental medicine. The author pointed out this by illustration.
