Online Joint Symposium of the Japanese Society of Personality Psychology and the Japanese Association of Adolescent Psychology

Based on the narratives, we showed how sexual minority youth, not only beaten down but sometimes resisting and succumbing to social pressures such as discrimination and prejudice, try to position themselves differently from the majority with an atypical gender and sexual orientation, and to localize themselves to others and to society.
