Correlation analysis of the subscales of the Reaction Style Scale and depression (SDS) was conducted and examined. The results showed that the negative ideation response and the avoidant distraction response were positively correlated with depression, the problem-solving ideation response was negatively correlated with depression, and the mood-altering distraction response was uncorrelated.
