Summary

In this study, we investigated the stability of EVs in gastrointestinal conditions. Although EVs can pass through the stomach without undergoing significant damage, they may be disrupted in the intestine to release their contents. However, DPP IV activity in salivary EVs is largely retained during transit through the gastrointestinal tract.
