Curcuminoids (Cu, CRE, CRE-Bin, CRE-Ter) reduced Atrogin-1 and MuRF-1 expression and increased Akt phosphorylation in dexamethasone-treated C2C12 cells, suggesting their potential to prevent sarcopenia by inhibiting protein degradation and promoting synthesis.
