Reliability and validity of the Japanese version of the Sport Imagery Ability Questionnaire 

The purpose of this study was to create a Japanese version of the Sports Imagery Ability Questionnaire (SIAQ) and to examine the characteristics that determine imagery ability according to competitive level and competitive characteristics. The results showed that athletes with higher competitive levels had significantly easier skill imagery and goal imagery reflected competitive characteristics.
