This study targeted 45 female softball players from University A, and we decided to break down goals into small steps through two sessions of work to exploratory examine the effects. As a result, the average number of "specific contents" for achieving the goals written in the first session was 3.3±1.5, but increased to 7.8±1.7 in the second session. The above results show that breaking down goals into small steps by looking at them from the perspective of others and setting numerical goals has the potential to clarify the specific process that leads to the accumulation of successful experiences.
