This study aimed to identify cognitive distortions in problems that impede performance, leading to adaptive cognitive awareness. Furthermore, it sought to clarify the ratio of mind, technique, and body involved in problems that impede performance. This study targeted 23 members of the golf club at University A. As a result, many players felt excessive anxiety and tension in the problems that impede performance, even though they had a low degree of confidence that the worst possible outcome would be caused. In addition, with regard to the ratio of mind, technique, and body, female players showed a value of nearly half for technical and physical aspects combined.
