The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of a coach's orientation on the interpersonal perception of individuals with athletic club experience. The subjects of the study were 1,056 university students who belonged to an athletic club in high school. The results showed that individuals with athletic club experience had a more positive impression of process-oriented coaches than victory-oriented coaches, and a more negative impression of victory-oriented coaches than process-oriented coaches. Therefore, it became clear that individuals with athletic club experience perceived process-oriented coaches positively and victory-oriented coaches negatively.
