This study focused on the orientation of the coach (winning orientation, process orientation) and examined the acquisition of life skills according to the orientation of the coach in high school and the competitive performance of the sports club members. The survey was conducted on 1,059 people belonging to a university in the metropolitan area. As a result, when examining the difference in the coach's orientation, in "social skills", coaches who were winning oriented showed significantly lower scores than coaches who were process oriented. In addition, in "empathy and support skills", coaches who were not both winning and process oriented showed significantly lower scores than coaches who were process oriented.
