Research on pregnancy and childbirth in women with spinal cord injuries

We conducted an interview survey of 56 women with spinal cord injuries who had given birth regarding pregnancy complications, the impact on daily life, and childbirth. It became clear that pregnancy was prone to problems such as anemia, urinary tract infections, and autonomic hypertonic reflexes, that transfer movements were impaired, and that cesarean sections were slightly more common.
